Dear Friends

My sister is having her cancer surgery on Thursday, ovarian cancer and breast cancer..........I will be MIA much of the time for the next week and I would truly appreciate your prayers and support.

If you could welcome the new members that would be a great help and if you see spammers contact one of the other mods.........

Most of all know I appreciate each of you.

Never for one minute doubt the importance of your will in Gods plan.
I feel in my heart as do all the other members that you are walking in Gods love everyday that you are here for us.

Kitt - I'm sorry to hear about your sisters cancer. Though I do not know her I'm sure if she is like you she is a fabulous lady! My heart goes out to you and all your family with my deepest sympathy. I'm sending my prayers now to you all. Stay strong and pull together. I dealt with this horrid disease with my mother and it was so tough and draining on us all so I ask for the lord to be by your sisters side to keep her safe and rid her body of this disease.

I will try to help out here as much as I can as I'm sure the other wonderful ppl on here will do so as well. You just take care of your self and your family now.

Thank you so very much............my sister's surgery went better then we could have dreamed of.  She is hopefully going to make a great recovery and depending on the biposy results may need more chemo but no cancer found on any other organs so prayers are truly powerful as well as support and caring.

We all thank you and know you are special, each and every one of you.  I have been here 48 hours and a bit sleep deprived but I am happy.

GERD is behaving itself too.  smilewinkgrin

I am going to try to go home for tonight.

Dear Family,

I am so sorry I am MIA...............I truly want to be here with all of you.

Update

My sister took a turn for the worse early Saturday Morning as she developed bleeding into her mastectomy site and was rushed back to surgery at 4:30 A.M. Her hemoglobin dropped to 7.9 and her BP was in the 70's (systolic).  She developed breathing problems and is now in Surgical ICU. 

She started to have hallucinations last night around Midnight.  I will be going back up to the hospital in a bit but wanted to let you know where we are at and one more time ask for prayers.

Thank you to all. The only thing my sister asks for is prayers. :-)

God answers prayers. I have learned in my life that I have to fully rely on God.
I am thinking of you and your sister and my positive thoughts and prayers are my goal for you today .

I am at the hospital and my sister is resting so I thought I would try to sneak online for a few minutes.

I am always so proud of the way the members in this forum bond together.  You are the best and my sister seems to be doing some what better.  Hopefully she will move out of Intensive Care tomorrow.

Thank you and your prayers have paid off as hopefully today she will move out of ICU and into a regular room.  I will  not be going into the cities today or tomorrow if all stays status quo as I have to work tomorrow and today I had to stay home to get some necessary  business done here at home.

Good Morning all,

Yesterday they started my sister back on her blood thinner and she will need close monitoring to make sure she does not drop her Hgb. Her last HGB was 8.7 and she has received 6 units of blood since her surgery just a week ago now.

Also waiting on the pathology reports.  We are in the snowstorm belt so I won't be going into the cities today.

I have been talking to  her by phone and she sounds positive.

Thank you for your prayers, we may have had a miracle here.
