Hi,
I just finished reading a recent article in a medical
journal about
the untold thousands of completely
unnecessary surgeries performed on people in America for
digestive disorders.
It's shocking, but they really don't get it.
I'm talking about
doctors who claim they don't know what
causes acid reflux, think drugs and surgery are the only
answers, and are willing to take out an organ that is
likely very healthy just because they think it might be
causing acid reflux symptoms.
Excuse me? Unnecessarily remove an organ from someone's
body basically because you haven't gotten the appropriate
education on what causes acid reflux?
Why not slice off their right arm while you're at it, just
in case that might be the problem.
Shouldn't medical schools around the world be teaching
proven-effective natural methods to their students in
order to create a world of healthy people instead of
padding the bill doing surgeries that only cause other
problems? But hey, they're in business to make money,
right?
The utter lack of common sense is shocking.
Here is a client (Eileen) who refused to become a victim
of drugs and needless surgery:

Hi Sherry,
about
a year ago I started getting chest pain. After
about
three months it got so bad I was convinced I was
having heart problems even though I'm not overweight (130
lbs at 5' 8 1/2") and my blood pressure has always been
slightly below normal.
I went to the emergency room and the doctors couldn't
figure out what the problem was as they did every
conceivable heart diagnostic test on me. Everything came
back normal, so they sent me home.
The pain returned and two months later I was back in
emergency. They sent me to a heart specialist - all his
tests - normal. He insisted I get my gall bladder removed
as he was convinced that was the problem. I told him I
would consider it.
I went to a GP and he ordered a scope and said I had
duodenitis caused by acid reflux. He prescribed Prevacid.
When I asked him what causes acid reflux he said nobody
knows. I then asked how long would I be on this drug. He
said "indefinitely."
I went on the net to check out the side effects and
decided not to fill the prescript
ion. Instead I tried
Zantac and Maalox. Both did absolutely nothing to
alleviate my symptoms.
I started researching, discovered your Great Taste No Pain
system and ordered your cookbook and manuals. When I
follow your recommendations, I experience no pain. When I
"cheat" I pay the price, because like you, I'm ultra
sensitive to what I eat.
I've read volumes on nutrition and holistic medicine and
there is ALWAYS an alternative to drugs and surgery. It
simply requires a willingness and active participation on
the patient's part. Drugs are not the answer.
Thanks for providing the common sense answer to a rampant
problem. I get to keep my gall bladder and spend my money
on nutritious food instead of drugs!
