I had an endoscopy and a biopsy was done. Does this mean there were some questionable areas in my stomach

me too, biopsy has such a negative connotation, but I think they just like to pick stuff and look at it under the microscope...it's a geek thing I fairly certain of it !!!!

I had a biopsy with mine as well. Even if everything looks great, they check for inflammation. It's definitely not something to worry about
. It's very routine.
Good luck!

I suspect if they see any inflammation or unusual tissue they biopsy. I'm wondering if it's always routine. Most of us here have at least a little inflammation. But it may not be anything to be concerned about
. I wouldn't worry. I suspect inflammation is pretty common (though I'm new to all this!) because you generally don't have an endo unless you've got some symptoms, unlike a screening colonoscopy.

Yep, he did a biospy on me too. It's to make sure no cancer is growing from the constant irritations.
