I have had orders for surgery from my specialist for allmost 2 months now. He referred me to a surgeon but he didnt have the experienced that I expected and after reading about
the bad side of this surgery I wasnt about
to take a chance.
It took me a while to find an experienced doctor and then I was referred to a doctor who is a pioneer in the Lap. surgery field. He is a professor of surgery and Chief of Minamally Inasive Surgery at the University of Southern California, and has been practicing since the 80s. He is highly accredited and recognized world wide as well. I met with him on Thrusday and he assured me that he will try and "fix me" . Funny because he asked me what I did for a living and when I told him that I'm an electrician he said that he needed to fix me fast because he needed some work done at his house.
I see light at the end of the tunnel and my spirits are as high as they have been since January.
My surgery date is on the 10th of August. I thought I would be nervous but I'm just reliefed to know that I will get my life back, be able to get back to work, and be able to enjoy my kids, hopefully, before the holidays. Most of all, I cant wait to sleep on my stomach!! Havent done that in over 6 months.
You guys on this forum are a great help.
Thank you for taking the time to be here.
