Good Morning Janice,

I am glad this surgery is behind you and my oh my would I like to kick the hiney of the nurse who told you that you were not allergic to a medication.............mercy, I would have put her on notice.  I am sorry this happened to you. 

We all need to take an advocate with us to the hospital when we are going to have any procedure so we have someone to speak for us.

I called for something for pain for all my skin burns back in September and the nurse said we will order you some Tylenol  # 3, I said I am allergic to codeine, so then she came back and said we will order you 800mg of Motrin..........pleeeezzzzzz,  I said I am a nurse and already know I can take 4 of the 200 mg OTC which I have been doing. So I asked for Toradol tabs and she said "Is the pain really that bad?"  That is when I reached through the phone line and pulled out her tonsils.  I had some 2nd  degree burns..............I will show her bad.   OK, end of tantrum  :)

I am so glad your son is OK.  My oldest son mountain bikes all the time............it is a worry but we have to believe that they are being watched over. (((Hugs)))

I am just very glad he had his helmet on and no broken bones.  Give him some gentle hugs and tell Tom hello.

Just checking in to make sure you are doing OK.  I am keeping busy but always have time to check with you.  Got your message and thank you for update. 

I am on my last shift here at this school and Monday I do a one day stint at the High School, first time there this year.

Thanks for the ecard, that was nice...............and I do hope you are well and feeling OK. I am working to much, at least 3 days per week and have had to be at work by 0600 so up at 4:30 AM. My body knows it had a birthday.



I am praying for you to be doing well along with all of our other members who continue to go through procedures and to carry on so bravely.
