6 months after surgery...

Hello everyone. Just a quick update.

Tomorrow is my appointment with SSA to turn in my application to draw from my disability account while I go to school. I met with my GP yesterday and hes on board. He told me that not being able to retrun to work is well documented in his records.

I came down with a sinus infection though and have been sneezing and coughing, which has caused me quite a bit of discomfort in my stomach. Yesterday the doctor gave me some antibiotics. Wen I picked up the prescription I freaked out when I saw that the pills were the size of the prenatal vitamins my wife took when she was pregnant. You women will know they are HUGE!! I took one this morning and sure enough, it got stuck. I took it while having breakfast so i had some of the food push it down and went it all went through, boy did it hurt. They are 3 times a day and don't know if I will be taking them at all.

I'm seeing my surgeon on Thursday for a 6 month follow up. For about a month now I have been having a really bad sour stomach feeling and some pain. Its non stop and nothing makes it better. I have been dealing with it and forget about it at times but some times it comes on stronger than others.

We'll see what he says. My GP asked to see what the Surgeon recommends about not being able to lift heavy items or exert my self like before the surgery.

This journey has been very bitter sweet. I try and not let it affect me mentally but some times its hard.

They're caplets so I put the powder in water but it irritated my esophagus.

The antibiotics are making my stomach feel much worse. They are actually causing me some swelling and palpitations. I cant think of any thing else that can be doing it....
