Tight Chest / Pressure feeling?

Asking some stuff about GERD symptoms..

Lately i have had this tight squeezing feeling that starts from under my sternum and kinda spread around my chest. It sounds kinda like how people describe heart attacks really but doubt i can have 2-3 heart attacks a day, while resting. Usually it seems to be related to eating too... Part of my GERD?

Secondly ive had some breathing problems, feels like i can't get a deep enough breath. I guess other GERD sufferers have this too? Sometime when i breathe i also wheeze, but someone told me in probably breathe acid into my lungs. Anyway it basically feels some huge ball is in the middle of my chest stopping it from expanding enough when i breathe. Sound like your symptoms?

Yes, I have the same thing with feeling like I have to take a deep breath alot and can't always do it. I am going for an endoscopy on Monday. I have burning and sometimes a pain/tightness in my chest. Already did a stress test and the heart is fine. In fact I work out quite heavily 3-4 times a week and am fine when I work out. I also have a pain down around the breast area/off to the right of the middle of my breast bone, that feels like a pulled muscle and sometimes I feel it in my back. Not sure what I even have yet, the doc guesses GERD but I guess we will see. I am taking Zegerid for now until we find out what is going on but the OTC drugs don't seem to be doing much yet.
