sex after fundo

so not to be too personal but im at 15 days post op and my surgeon said no restrictions..just stop if it hurts. he said sex was ok and well it happened last night. i know this is personal, but this morning my gerd symptoms were worse..am i just panicking. is that type of activity ok. need reassurance. if its not ok would 1 time mess wrap up. thx for the help

Hi Joe,
I had sex I think two weeks after the fundo and it was fine for me as well. We were as careful (as anyone can be when you're messing around) and I didn't feel any negative symptoms. I wouldn't worry, at day 14 I was still having full on GERD which has now chilled out and I'm feeling much better.

thank you very much. we were told it was ok, and yes i agree we were as careful as one can be, but everyday my symptoms stay i get paranoid like i messed it up. im very thankful for your response.

Joe - thanks for asking what I'm sure everyone else was wondering but was afraid to ask! I had the same question but afraid to ask a male Dr. That's why I usually always go to female Drs - unfortunately my primary Dr I've had for 20 years is retiring next month and very sad about this - I could talk to her about anything and I mean anything - thanks again!
