Hi all - I'm 7 weeks out from Nissen. Still cannot eat and the recent barium swallow said that a "thin stream" is getting through from a "tight Nissen Fundoplication." I'm having an endoscopy on Wednesday with probable dilation.
Has anyone had this? Is it painful? I've had several endoscopies in the past and a couple were not comfortable but I'm a little concerned that the pain that I have when I eat is going to be ten times worse when they stretch!
Have lost 28 pounds. Not worried because I can live off "the fat of the land!"
Also, am having severe gall bladder issues. And am having an ultrasound on Wednesday too. Yikes!
BTW, Mass General in Boston is where I go.
Thanks!
