Merry Christmas. I am sorry to hear of your heart issues but truly glad that the Drs. were able to dx your condition. I would suspect your anxiety is running high and thus the trips to the ER as you worry that your sx could be your heart. I think you have a right to be anxious.
What are the warning signs of a heart attack?
The American Heart Association and other medical experts say the body likely will send one or more of these warning signals of a heart attack:
Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes.
Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms. The pain may be mild to intense. It may feel like pressure, tightness, burning, or heavy weight. It may be located in the chest, upper abdomen, neck, jaw, or inside the arms or shoulders.
Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.
Paleness or pallor.
Increased or irregular heart rate.
Feeling of impending doom.
Anxiety, nervousness and/or cold, sweaty skin.
May I suggest you talk with your Physician to decided when you should be concerned re your heart and presenting to the ER or when it may be GERD and perhaps a phone call to your Dr. would be appropriate ?
Remember I am not a Dr. but I hope this helps provide you with some info on the general sx of a heart attack. This list is not all inclusive.
I wish you peace,
Kitt
