Hi Pinks,
I have been learning so much from all the contributors since I joined, and one of the things ... what works for the one might not work for others .. but both my husband and I found digestive enzymes a great help, a miracle in fact. I had bad sticky phlegm reflux problems,(gave me bronchitis twice in three months, ending up in lung problems ..) and he just had plain bad indigestion .. he burped (extremely loudly!!), had gas problems and felt bloated . so when I learnt about digestive enzymes on the internet and it helped me, suggested he should take it too .. and it helped!! Hooray!!
Not everybody will agree with me ... but enzymes is the station where our digestive "train" departs .. and unfortunately as we get older, and because of our bad eating habits, these disappear. We forget that although we're told that veges are good for us, we kill all the enzymes thru cooking same! I read the other day: Enzymes play the same role in digestion as spark plugs in a motor car engine ....
So this just a thought - I think its worthwhile researching how our digestive system works from A - Z, to give us a better understanding of all our problems.
Just sowing a seed ... good luck!!
Cecelia
