ANYONE CAN HELP HERE WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE about THE BEST SURGEON THEY KNOW, WHO HAVE DONE NISSEN FONDO.

Where are you located and what kind of insurance do you have? These make a big difference in finding a surgeon.

Hi Peggy,

Am from Africa, they do perform Nissen in my country its free too, but i want the best surgeon, and i don't mind paying all i need is the best surgeon who has performed a lot of these surgeries and knows what exactly to do. thank for the reply, hope you will guide me and others too.

If you're willing to come to the USA for the surgery, I would suggest you look at the large centers, like Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, or Cleveland Clinic, etc.

Another member here raves about the Cleveland Clinic (in Cleveland, Ohio). She received outstanding care from Dr. Rice and his staff at CC.

I have no experience at CC, but highly value the opinions of the member who recommended it.

Thank you both Joy and Denise am working on it, i got 1 surgeon form south California well he is good but the coast is quite high 18000usd. will try to see other option too, but i want the best surgeon's as TIF has failed

You're right to be looking for the best surgeon. It's an important part of ensuring that you will have a successful Nissen.

I am a year out from my surgery and I had and have no problems.
Mine was done in Manchester, Connecticut by Dr. Constantinou, Thoracic Surgeon.

how much its cost you, i got 1 sm1 told me about Dr alan li in Manchester itself and i am considering all options, in which hospital you had your surgery and can you give me the full name of the doctor or if you have his contacts. thnak you very much for the info. by the way can you eat and swallow without any issue.

Hi Shaeyne,

I was one of the lucky ones that my insurance covered it after my deductible so I have no clue what it cost.

Dr. Costantinou is located at 94 Union Street, 1st Floor, Rockville 860-870-1300

The surgery was done in Manchester Hospital and I was in ICU per Dr. for 3 days. The staff there is wonderful. I followed his instructions but made some errors and paid for them back in my recovery days.
I can burp without a problem and I eat anything I want now watching my portions and I have no problem swallowing.

I would highly recommend him. His bedside manner is great and his personality is even better.

Hi mam,

for a moment i thought Manchester hospital is in uk, but its in USA, i am trying to get visa for usa unfortunately due to funds restrictions the embassy has stopped issuing visa in my country. and hospital also are not willing to take me as patient, i really wonder if really these institution care about people or only $$$$. i am lost.

Hi,

i can pay for my treatment, i already spend 15,000usd on TIF, the issue is that for me to travel to us, money i have, they need to give paper so that i can show @ embassy, some ans i get is that let us know when you in town, please give us a call when you are nearby, how to expext me to be nearby. i need visa to traval.
