Hello, and thank you for this forum! I am scheduled to have my Nissen Fundoplication, a Hiatal Hernia Repair, and my Gallbladder removed all at the same time May 9th. This is my 3rd year in a row on major surgeries, I am lucky to have multiple health issues.
Anyway, my surgeon is going to "try" to do this lap. but I have had 2 prior laps, so we shall see. I am really scared from reading so many horror stories. I'm wondering how will I take my meds if it's so hard to swallow? What can I really expect as far as recovery? Will I have tubes down my nose when I wake up, etc? I'm just looking for honest answers from anyone who has been through any of these surgeries...or all of them at once as I will be. Thank You, any input is greatly appreciated. BTW I also have Duodenitis and IBS, along with severe GERD.
