Pain under right rib and gas

Hi all!

I am new to this so please bear with me.

I am a 37 year old male and for th last 4 months have been suffering from what started out as a pain in my right chest. the doctor prescribed painkillers saying it was a strain in the chest. weeks later the problem was still there but other symptoms now evident such as constipation, pain under my right ribs "similar to a stitch" noisy sounds coming from my abdomen, and a bloated feeling as if I have eaten a large meal.

I returned to the doctor explaining this and was sent for a chest X ray and bloods, which all proved to be fine.

The doctor gave me Omerzapole to see if it could be oesophagitis. The pills seemed to cure the chest pain to some extent but I started to get tight sensations down my right side and my digestive system seemed to come to a complete stop!

Sorry to be going on a bit but I am trying to give as much detail as possible,

Anyway, decided to take it upon myself to stop the medication and within a day or so some bowel function returned, but so did the chest and under rib pain.

Have since returned to the doctor explaining this, and he gave me movicol to aid my bowel function and Diazepam to calm me down because it seems to be taking over my life! Can anyone please help!!!!!

No not yet, I do have also really loud noises coming from my stomach though some times can be heard across a room, its embarrasing!

My work consists of doing two 12 hour day shifts, immediatley followed by two 12 hour night shifts in the same week.
was wondering if this could be a factor???

Going on a two week holiday tomorrow, hoping a couple weeks of a real routine may help.
