Severe abdominal pain that puts you down and out in bed causes me to be very concerned about you.

For mild abdominal pain, call your doctor first. If the pain is sudden, severe or does not ease within 30 minutes, seek emergency medical care.

Well, i managed to get through that episode, i guess it was just my insides recovering from the intensity of the pain, which i can not describe.

Anyway, friday just gone, i have another attack, these start off bearable, then the longer it goes on and on the more intense it gets. By the time the ambulance turned up i was in fetal position in the front room, gas&air and a quick trip up to hospital, i told them exactly what it was, and by now they knew, a quick xray and blood tests showed gallstones and pancreatitis again. Piled with morphine and moved onto a ward and pumped full of fluids and left to sit it out. Another ultasound today showed no blockages which is a good thing as i didnt fancy another endoscopy for them to remove em. So im still in hospital waiting for an MRI which should be 2moro. Ive been told i wont be going home with my gallbladder inside me, whats the point, its only going to happen again in a week or 2. But the downside of that is i will probably have to be opened up to have it removed as keyhole would be to risky as my pancreas is probably still inflamed, how bad? thats what the mri will tell me.

I know this is the GERD section, but i dont know where else to post about this on the forum as there is no gallbladder section. :D and i started posting here as my doctor wrongly diagnosed me with acid reflux.

Anyway, i am finaly getting sorted, i might get my life back now, whoooo. Been one **** year this has. Been stuck in hospital is not that bad now, ive got my laptop and internet so that keeps me happy.
