Had nissen redo 8 weeks ago and all seems to be going well, went back for barium swallow with more reflux but results where all good.Now i have excessive saliva coming into mouth? Any help on why and how to stop??????

Are you still on any medication that would account for this symptom?

Not any more, was taking 20mg pariet but stopped a day ago....why does the meds do that to you? I never had this problem before operation on same meds?

I had that symptom as a side effect of Omeprazole, but not Lansoprazole. Maybe some of the wrapped folk will know if it sometimes occurs after surgery.....?
