Anyone know anything about Linx surgery for acid reflux

I read about it on a board somewhere but can't find much on it on the internet. Is it available in US?

Its not available in the U.S. It is available privately in England, but they wont let you get it if you are a U.S. citizen for some reason. They have a website. If you google Torax Medical it should be one of the first hits. Seems to have relatively good success on this board, although some people complain about difficulty swallowing and esophageal spasms. Its waiting on FDA approval right now, and there is no known timeline for when it will be available.

I am in the uk and enquired about this surgery but if you already have Barretts they won't treat you - and my Barretts it's tiny tiny at 3 mm - which rules out a lot of people!
