Hey CWB,
Yes, that feeling is very common. I've had it myself from time to time. I echo what Bruce has already told you and want to remind you to be an advocate for yourself in the doctor's office. I to this day worry about
being a pain in the doctor's, ahem, side, but it helps me to remember that they are there to help and probably would NOT take "Oh you'll have to live with this" as an answer :)
Also, have you made any lifestyle changes? Such as avoiding food triggers, raising the head of your bed, etc? I find that making the suggested adjustments helped my symptoms quite a bit.
Hey Rocker,
Nuts don't bother me personally but I believe they're prohibited by the Koufman low acid diet because of their high fat content (no guarantees on this one). In a case like yours, a food diary sounds like an excellent idea since it sounds like you're still finding new triggers. A food diary is also a great way to show your doctor proof that you're active in trying to help yourself and also shows what steps you've already taken to do so :)
I hope you're both feeling well,
Ashley
