Hi everyone!
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I have been reading other threads which have really helped until now but am still unsure about some symptoms I'm experiencing.
I'm 21 and had nissen fundoplication surgery 3 weeks ago, and have been experiencing quite a lot of side effects.
I'm currently still on liquids/pureed foods and am only managing very small portions (approx half a cup at a time).
The main problem is that about half an hour after I eat, I get very sharp pains all across my abdomen, followed by a cramping feeling, and then the feeling of nausea. That's then followed by another half hour to an hour of what can only be described as 'gurgling' (but on reading other forums this seems to be normal).
I just want to see if the pain is normal or if anyone else experienced this and knows of a solution?!
Thanks in advance
Mel
