Maximus,
If you are talking about ceramic crowns that look like real teeth then I think it is about 1000.00 per teeth, then with dental insurance the out of pocket cost would be somewhere around $500.00. I hope technology improves to the point when GERD becomes a thing of the past with new surgical techniques such as TIF or LINX. I hope they event something new that is better then a nissen fundoplication. Maybe stem cells and growing a new LES and Gastroesophageal Flap Valve. Yes there are two natural barrier to acid from the stomach the Lower Esophageal Sphincter and the Gastroesophageal Flap Valve. Once these two are compromised through food poisoning, binge drinking, excessive vomiting, genetics, wearing tight clothing which causes hiatal hernias, then it is hello GERD. Here is a good read for all you suffering from GERD and LPR: http://journals.lww.com/jcge/fulltext/1999/04000/the_gastroesophageal_flap_valve.2.aspx
