does anyone know if jelly beans and red licorice are acid safe foods. word to all when i had the probes hooked up jello actually lowered my ph under 4..yes jello equaled acid

any sugar is probably not a good idea. Sugar is a carb and it requires the stomach to produce more acid to break it down. But if you are going to have one, I h ave heard that jelly beans are not as bad.

I love the red licorice and eat it all the time - at least it's fat free....
