Anyone know how much I would have to pay privately to get 24 hr oesophageal ph testing and manometry? Thanks

Doctor's offices are usually pretty cool about giving out that information. Here's a website but it's from 1999 and I think prices have gone up just a teensy weensy bit since then and it's in USD. Sorry, it was all I could find.

£800 for 24 ph test and manometry. You pay for it privately but you will usually go to the nearest NHS hospital to get it done, obviously without the waiting times.

I know because i got all my NF and pre-tests done on my private medical insurance and was given copies of costs for my records.

Hey, I don't know if the NHS is anything like our system here, but if you pay to see a private doctor (usually about 100€) and they refer you for testing, you are placed in the public queue and it is then paid for by the government. If it's the same, it might be the compromise you're looking for!
