elavil and aciphex

I was on: 20mg/night elavil and 20mg/morning aciphex
and the symptoms were better but not fully under control ...

So, after consulting my GI, I've recently up'd the dosage to: 20mg/night elavil and 20mg/morning and 20mg/evening aciphex (1/2-1 hr before breakfast and dinner respectively)

I seem to be feeling better with respect to my GERD symptoms ... but I do have strange body aches and random tingling sensations ..

I guess, I can continue to ride on this cocktail, but I am worried a bit about these meds messing with the body's natural order of things .. should I be worried - or just go on for as long as I can?

No clear diagnosis - but a bit of both: LPR and GERD. More GERD symptoms now - LPR symptoms have gone down considerably since mid 2011.

I can tolerate Aciphex the best. All other PPIs tend to cause much more severe side effects. Elavil and Aciphex combination is what I can tolerate the best - so I am on this cocktail now and trying to keep my GERD symptoms to a minimum (they are not fully controlled - but I'll take this state any day over where I used to be).

Today I had to add mucinex to this .. for a stubborn cough that is not going away!
