What are the Surgery Options?

Stay away from Stretta. Heck I don't even think its done anymore. The others are all opinion; study the data, get input and best of luck. To me, it will be the Linx of Hybrid TIF. I do not like the long-term data on the other more invasive techniques....

From my research it looks like you have all the bases covered on surgical options.

As a tag along to the surgery options can anyone explain the path to surgery? Wondering how long does it take generally , what are the basic requirements to get a surgeon to agree to do it?

I have been on PPI's for 8 months, they have helped but do not provide adequate relief. I have LPR, never heartburn but sore lungs , it seems to bother my sinus etc.. Can feel the reflux but never as a fluid. I have done all the lifestyle changes, didn't actually have a lot to change, outside of eliminating caffeine and now sugar , sleep on a wedge. Not much else left to do so it strikes me as surgery is a likely path for me. Do not want to be on PPI's for the rest of my life. I am 55.

The TIF looks attractive, but I would have to pay it out of pocket as it is not available in Canada. Lynxx is an option but not sure about that. I live near the border. Fundoplication is an option that I could have done free in our system , but TIF looks less extreme.
