I read up a lot about chiropractors that specialize in helping with reflux, as well as acupuncture. I did go ahead and have the Nissen Fundo surgery because I acquired Barrett's Esophagus and felt I needed more of a western medical philosophy. I think it was a good decision, but as I mentioned on this forum prior, I do wish I would have tried the least invasive surgeries first. And I do wish I would have tried numerous chiropractor sessions, as I know a really good one in my area and he would have been totally honest with me if he felt it ultimately did not appear to be working.
My advice is start with natural methods, and if they don't work, move on to the lesser procedures; LINX, endo cinch etc., before you have the full Nissen. Like I said, I am at peace with my decision and do feel it made a difference, but wish I would have done some other things first. Best of luck!
