I can't stand the nausea anymore! I'm taking PPI's 2 X's day for relief. Mostly venting here, but I will call the surgeon tomorrow to see about
a scope I refused to have a year ago. Anything I can do for the nausea?

Hi Oliveoil, nausea,s a killer,i suffer bad nausea myself and all you can do is take anti-nausea meds, your gp should be able to give you some, you may have to try a few to find which one works for you though.Get that endoscopy done to see whats going on in there, hopefully they will see whats causing your nausea. I also have almost constant nausea and have been on PPI's 2x day + 600 mgof Zantac to control reflux. Still had breakthrough pain & nausea. In the process of weaning myself off all of those meds because I've developed an allergice reaction to them over the several months - too many meds for my body to process. My GI specialist at the mayo clinic told me that nausea is a key symptom of reflux. Having a nissen done in 2 weeks & I am ready for it.

Baza & Life is Good, have the endoscopy scheduled for monday the 25th. Like you, I'm so ready to get this done and find out whats going on in there and hopes for healing or feeling better. Thanks for the input, encouragement does wonders for me!!
