Constant pain in left rib cage

I keep getting this constant pain in my left rib cage (about where the rib ends, but a little above the left costal margin). I have brought up this pain to my doctor numerous times and he thinks it is related to my gerd... Yet, it feels like it is more movement/unrelated to my gerd based... I have had this pain for months since my GERD started, yet I never have found a solution to this thing. Is it a result from the tiny HH that my doctor said that I have? I'm starting to worry it may be something more serious... like pancreatic cancer. :/

I am experiencing the same thing. I went to the doctor for the pain in my left rib cage. They told me I had gallstones and removed my gallbladder. A few weeks after they removed it, I started having acid reflux and went to the gp and they said I also had swollen lymph nodes, fever and put me on antibiotics. I also scheduled to see my GI. He did endoscopy and colonoscopy and found that I have Barrett's Esophoagus and precancerous polyps. I still have this horrible pain in my left rib cage and I just don't see how the two are related. The pain also spreads to my left hip. if you find anything out, let me know.

It must be related to acid hitting the esophagus. But mine seems to get worse with physical activity and when I have to burp a lot... Which leads me to believe one of two things. Either it is my hiatal hernia causing discomfort and the pain in for some reason traveling into my left chest, or it is a tumor or growth somewhere inside my left rib cage. I think it is the hiatal hernia.
