Had my consultation with my surgeon today. Went very well. To make a long story short I made my decision to get the Linx procedure. Luckily they have foreseen problems they may face with insurance they have their own advocate to pursue the issue and hopefully insurance will be able to cover it.
Tomorrow and Wed. Ill be getting a motility study and my Endo. Based on my 2010 motility I'm a perfect candidate for Linx. Just doing another follow to make sure everything is in check. Could be as soon as May. It's crazy.
I feel I have done all the due-diligence on my part with all the procedures available and I feel Linx is the best for me.
I will keep you all updated and when the procedure is completed I will maintain a journal and answer any questions I can.

Yes that us correct. I talked with Dr. Paresh Shah the Chief laparoscopic surgeon at Lenox Hill.

I'm actually going to see the surgeon (Dr. Paresh Shah) today at 3. We are going to discuss the results of my pre-op tests. If all goes well and I'm still a candidate I will push for July. I would do it sooner and the Dr said he could do it this month. However, I have some personal obligations to attend too, so July works much better.
Dr. Shah has not performed any Linx surgeries as of yet. I maybe the first. He does have others on a list depending approval of insurance. He has performed over 450 Nissens for the record. He is also sits on the advisory board for Torax and he is the Chief Larposcopic surgeon at Lenox Hill.
