Hi NDL,
Don't get me wrong. I'm *very* happy for you! Seriously!
However, there is a difference between sharing information about success and promoting a product that is still unproven according to the latest research among several categories and not just the ability to eat and have reflux. Essentially what you will be doing is endorsing the Torax Linx - possibly for monetary compensation.
Don't you still have an outstanading balance from the surgery according to prior posts?
I'm sure that Torax can help with that if they want.
Personally, I would like to "hear" from everyone on this board that has had the Linx about how well they can freely swallow without discomfort, have no saliva pooling, no pain, etc. The best testimonals are those that come from the people here - objectively - not from a possibly compensated endorser.
I'm still waiting on the Linx, because the real hard data is just not there yet and some top-notch surgeons that I have spoken with are excited but await more solid, factual data before jumping in. Some of this data is best applied to the category of "quality of life," which is not just the prevention of reflux, but also enjoying your food and drink on the way down to the stomach.
Have you read Dr. Brian Louie's Blog at Swedish Medical Center in Seatlle, Washington?
If not, you can copy and paste this URL into your browser...

There is much information and opinion there.
I truly wish you the very best - and I mean that!
Maybe I am a bit too conservative in my views.
