I have a 1cm hiatus hernia, moderate Gerd/Lpr, and want to have a baby again ( I have one now, I developed Gerd/Lpr after my first pregnancy.)
I don't know what I should do to have a safe second pregnancy. I am thinking of three ways:
1, Taking medicines during pregnancy. The risks include the enlargement of my current hiatus hernia, which may make linx impossible for me, discomforts and harms on my baby.
2, Do linx and hiatus hernia repair first, then go to get pregnant. I don't know whether pregnancy will make the hiatus hernia recur or not. Or any other bad effects, there is no information on this. How soon can I get pregnant after having linx?
2, Do nissen and hernia repair first, then have baby. I may need a redo after pregnancy, and I also have to wait 1 or 2 years before pregnancy. I am not young now. I don't want to wait that long. Also the hernia may come back.
I just don't know what to do and feel upset sometime. I really need some help and suggestion. Thanks.
