Anyone heard of Dr Mehran Anvari?

Hi Everyone,

I am considering having my surgery with Dr Mehran Anvari, located in Hamilton Ontario Canada. Although this is a international forum, I have heard many times this this surgeon is world renowned and an innovator in Laproscopic surgeries and robotics.

If you know of this Dr, or have been worked on by him please let me know.

Hi Laurie,

He's been doing Lap surgeries, including Nissen for 20 years. He now only does surgery once a week and does approx 5+ a month. I assume that when he was in his prime he would be doing more days of surgery, so I guess over 1000 to date... I called his office and they don't know how many he's done officially, but siad he was the best around.. I know from my other medical issues that most surgeons are deemed as 'the best' when you ask.

Like any surgery, you can never be too careful on who you pick to to the deed.
