Urgent help please? Had Enough!

Hi All,

Could appreciate any help or advice. So a little bit of history..

I am 21, when I was 16 I had a Nissen Fundoplication, after 2 months of the surgery my symptoms returned, worse than before.
My main symptom is regurgitation, I also have severe pain, painful hiccups and as a result of this I have had to leave University early.

I have seen several 'specialists' all have no clue what is going on and I'm just desperate for some help. I have had every test under the sun, there is no acid reflux more than the norm. My newest surgeon seen me once and has suggested that he is going to ask around to see if anyone knows of my problem that can help.

I was just wondering if anyone has any clue as to what is wrong, or any suggestions to any specialists in the UK who might be able to help?

I'm getting to the point where I think I would be better off cutting myself open and having a look!

Yes I have had 2 barium swallows both showing no sign of a wrap and I have also had an endoscopy which showed that the wrap is still intact and was done very well.
This is another reason why the doctors are confused because all tests show conflicting results.

I wouldn't worry too much three weeks in as it is still recovering a lot of people seem to keep symptoms until the swelling and irritation stops. I hope your nissen works!

I don't really have symptoms of either, the ph test showed non acidic episodes when I ate but other than them times no acid which fits with the symptoms, I've been looking into something called rumination syndrome which is rare and not many doctors know about it. I'm hoping it is not that as the treatments seem limited!
