Those tests were all fine, the one that they took seriously was my PH study. My surgeon kept saying that he made my wrap "really loose." November the 7th, I had a barium swallow test after I complained about
not being able to get even liquids down. In that test you could see how the liquid getting past my wrap was like a straw the size of a needle going to my stomach, with my esophagus ballooning near the wrap site as the liquid was trying to get to my stomach.
My surgeon talked to me about
those results an hour after I had that barium swallow, and he said, hey look, you can see liquid getting past the wrap. You have swelling. I can't tell the difference between swelling and something else going on right now. I'm still not convinced this is normal. I've lost 25 pounds so far. I have mild hunger pains at best, even when I don't eat. Just physical discomfort in my body from the lack of eating. Not much energy either which makes sense because I'm not eating very much. This Friday will be three weeks!
