Hi! So happy to have stumbled onto this site.
I've been having menopause symptoms for almost a year (sweats, dizzyness etc.)which have been quite unpleasant but bearable, but recently having shortness of breath and chest pains and also feeling like I've got a lump in the side of my throat. Been really anxious about
it (imagining all sorts of worst possible scenarios) and saw the doc this morning who thinks it's acid reflux but sent me to the hospital for an ECG just to rule out any heart problems. Well I was more or less OK with that (thinking maybe he's right and it's nothing really wrong) but the girl who did the ECG looked at the printout and said 'excuse me for a few minutes as I just want to speak to a colleague'. When she came back all she would say was that my results would be faxed to my doc in 7-10 days so now I'm bricking it wondering what she spotted that she had to mention. So more anxious than ever now! But finding this site and seeing others have had more or less the same symptoms has helped so maybe I'll get a bit of sleep tonight after all.
Thanks to anyone who's read this.
Regards, Susan
