Is this GERD?

I have been having these weird pains in my throat over the last couple of months. It doesn't last long and happen at random (some days it doesn't happen at all). Sometimes the pain goes all the way to my jaw and one time last week, all the way to my chin. Also when I breathe in occasionally, I have a stinging feeling in my throat or my chest. I also have a chronic cough and was diagnosed with acid reflux two months ago, but I was diagnosed due to chest pain, these symptoms didn't start until a week or two later. Since they started that long after I was diagnosed, I'm worried that it's something else, so I wanted to be sure if acid reflux/GERD is a likely cause.
