Looking for Advice about LINX vs Baclofen

I have acid reflux and recently found that that my scpinter is open and they want me to consider the baclofen medicine or the linx surgery. I had the gastric sleeve and can't have the nissen. I'm looking for advice on what to do?

Baclofen has some major side effects, although I have also read good reports about it being effective, whereas the Linx is a permanent cure - if it was me - I would go for the Linx and have the cure, rather than taking a drug.

Unfortunately I have a significant motility problem and can't have the linx, but I have been offered the Baclofen, and so far have refused it.

Hi

If your sphincter is open then surely that's a mechanical fault. Is medication going to close the sphincter. If not then your always going to get symptoms.

Just a quick question have you been told that you can have the Linx even though you've had a gastric sleeve ?

Yes I've been told I can have the linx with the gastric sleeve.
