Swollen glands and painful tongue

I am absolutely shocked with the amount of symptoms GERD/LPR has graced me with these last few weeks.

Now I keep getting swollen glands in my throat, aching tongue underneath on both sides, feeling like my tongue is swelling and too big for my mouth, swollen lymph nodes in neck and back of head, pain in back of head when breathing, itchy palate and tongue and sore ears.

I take lansoprazole twice a day but it doesn't help. I am still unable to swallow food because it gets stuck just below my adams apple which is making me miserable.

Does anyone know what helps get rid of most of the symptoms?

I have a lot of the same symptoms. I started out years ago with just a sore spot on my neck or throat. 5 years later and a ton of tests and cash I am still suffering every day. I have a lump in my throat now 24/7. I have swollen lymph nodes behind my ears and in my neck, itchy inner ears, burning throat, sore inflamed tonsils, tonsil stones, headaches and the list goes on.....I have tried it all I think. The doctors I've been to don't know the answers, they just prescribe and send me to another specialist but I never get answers or relief. I spend most of my free time reading posts like these in the hopes I will come across something that will help lead me in the right direction. I can't believe that there are so many people out there with this problem and there isn't more remedies for it. And where did this come from? In my parents generation it was hardly heard of. Makes me wonder if it's not all the processed and poor quality food available in this country. The people get sicker and Big Pharma gets richer. Sorry for the rant, sometimes I just get going on this subject.
