Gaviscon-liquid or tablets?

I'm going to order some from the Canadian pharmacy (i'm in the US) since I read here that it's better quality. just wondering if liquid or tablets is more effective, or if it's the same. Shipping would probably be cheaper with the tablets, but I want the one that works the best.

Hi diaba,
I don't know about Gaviscon, but I think the liquid always seems to work better than tablets for me. Hopefully somebody will be by soon who has experience with that specific product.

maybe someone can report if they used the liquid or tablets and if it was helpful for them? any side effects?

I think the liquid worked better for me also. My doctor thinks liquid works better as it coats your stomach/esophagus better.

I used both liquid forms of the UK, and US. And tablets --Canadian and UK.

I like the UK version better (for liquid and tablets), but UK will not ship them anymore due to FDA rules =(. Ran out of the liquid but i still have the tablets..got to make my supply last! You could try mixing of course. I take the 1 tablet of the UK version and drink the US version right before bed. No weird side effects yet..been doing it for 1.5 months.

I also take antiacids (2 tablets) + the american gaviscon liquid after meals (15 ml)..this helps a lot. Taking the gaviscon since antiacid will cause some rebounding of acid =P
