Yes, milk thistle had an impact on my symptoms and I feel less reflux if I take it. I have hypersensitive oesophagus, so I don't know if the milk thistle reduces reflux or just reduces sensation of reflux in my case. However, it is supposed to be a mild prokinetic. When it seemed to help I thought I'd cure myself by taking it several times a day (before every meal) but sadly the effect seems limited - 2 capsules does no more than 1 does! However, I do get benefit.
DGL is also helpful.
Marshmallow in tea form is soothing, if you can tolerate teas. Some people say camomile tea is good but it didn't help me personally.
