Hello I am a 18 year old female struggles with anxiety but have not had a attack in several weeks anyways I been to the doctor for a empty ness in my stomach even when eating , I did have heart burn and tightness in chest from gas , I am on omezaprole for gerd , can gerd cause you to have to emptyness feeling , when to the doctor for blood test everything is ok ,

Welcome to Healing Well! I'm glad to hear you've gotten medical attention for your symptoms, and it's good to hear your results have been positive.

GERD symptoms can be varied..."emptiness" is a pretty vague symptom. If it means a gnawing feeling, that would certainly be consistent with GERD/reactive stomach/gastritis.

I hope you find an answer to your problem very soon, and you get feeling better!

yes, constant false hunger is one of the main symptoms I get. I gain weight when symptomatic and lose it when I am well !

Absolutely one of my symptoms! When I was really feeling ill I used to carry a couple of biscuits with me. It was just enough to relieve the feeling. I think the feeling can also be symptomatic of duodenal ulcers but that was quickly ruled out.
