Hi Rochy,Welcome to the Healing Well
Wrapped Club!
I'm glad to hear you finally got wrapped! I waited six long years during which my lungs were in dangerous condition due to reflux. Thankfully, the surgery worked, and my lungs are doing great!
As soon as you can manage to get out of bed at the hospital, start walking! The more you can walk, the better that shoulder will feel. Isn't it strange that you get shoulder pain from stomach surgery? It's referred pain from the diaphragm repair made worse by the gas they blow into you to make it easier for the surgeon to see.
You probably already saw it, but here's my early recovery journal, FYI...

Happy healing!
