Hi all-
Sorry I have been MIA around here lately. And thank you Denise for starting this again. Funny how it grew from the " Where in the World is Bill" thread when I had my 1st redo and complications. Seems like SO long ago!
Well I had my shoulder surgery today, well technically yesterday. As usual was 2.5 hours late going into surgery. Surgery tool 3 hours instead of 1 hour due to having large shoulder and a lot of junk to be cleaned out along with the removal of the end of my clavicle bone. All the years of base/softball, over head work and such took it's toll.
anyone going for this surgery.....get the nerve block! I opted not to and sure wish I had...male ego you know
I have made it past the 3 year mark for my torn esophagus surgery and will be at 3 years on my 2nd redo in August. Boy how time flies.
A little softball update, hmmm imagine that
, My new team took 2nd place this past weekend. A huge turn around over the last 3 tourneys. The young ladies played great ball all weekend, but ran out of gas in the last inning of the championship game and dropped it 6 to 4. Their hard work is paying off though.
My daughter is finally home from college. So nice to be able to see her every day again.
Take care,
Bill
