Is this GERD? Please help!

Of course I'm not a doctor but it sounds to me like acid reflux brought on by stress, just from what you've mentioned, and when you worry it becomes worse, and I know better then anyone that it's tough not to worry. I've had gerd for most of my life and you can get some pretty scary symptoms and it seems everyone has there own individual symptoms, but I know that I've heard people mention that bile taste in the mouth. When you sleep, sometimes the acid will go up your esophagus and into your mouth, so try and put the head of your bed up so that you're upper body is not flat, I did this by putting to blocks under the posts at the head of my bed, or you could buy a wedge if you're able to sleep that way. Extra pillows under your head and shoulders are not the answer, that will just squeeze your stomach more and add the reflux. You can also have headaches and even dizziness from gerd or acid reflux, along with gurgling stomach, dry and scratchy throat. You don't necessarily have to feel heart burn or a gassy feeling, I've never had that myself for the most part, you can have what is called silent heart burn, for me it's a pressure in my chest and sometimes a squeezing in my rib cage, and right now I'm having a really bad flare up causing a "lump in the throat" feeling and even ear ringing. So don't worry, it's uncomfortable and some days annoying but not fatal, it's just kind of a trial and error to find what medication works for you and I also find that any relaxation technique you can do for yourself helps as well. Good luck to you and try not to worry as that will also exacerbate your symptoms.

I m also struggling with stress and anxiety. They seem to make the symptoms longer. I feel like I'm 80% ok, but because of stress and worrying, i still can't focus on working and daily activities.
