Healed ulcers= heartburn gone

Hi all,

I posted on this forum about 4 months ago about an endoscopy I had because of bad heartburn that revealed I had three ulcers, h. Pylori negative and likely caused by NSAID use plus alcohol. Fast forward to today and after a 12 week course of 80mg Prilosec every day I can safely say after being off of the Prilosec for a month now my heartburn is gone, as are the ulcers. So, if you have heartburn after every meal like I was having I just want to say go get scoped and see if it's being caused by an ulcer! I didn't realize they could cause heartburn but apparently they can AND are relatively easy to heal with meds!

Thanks for the post, i have ulcers and will have repeat scope on the 7th July (hope they are gone)

i have full stomach feeling (bulging and pulpitating) and belching/gas pressure in the stomach after every meal, even sometimes a drink. gets worse progressively through the day and bad in the evening. Can you please describe your pas symptoms? i really hope my reflux will be cleared when gastritis is gone...
