Shortness of breath with GERD and Colon spasms

Am i the only one here who is experiencing shortness of breath with gerd. I have no problem with the airflow and i have been mesured with a sperometer and my airflow is just perfect. Its like i have something blocking my nose and i feel short of breath most days. And do you link gerd with colon spasms?

sbh20, I too have been experience shortness of breath plus many other problems such as chest pain, tightness, nausea and I now believe that PPI's are causing more problems than I had before.

sbh20, are you taking any acid controlling drugs?  What other symptoms do you have?  Do you have a hiatal hernia?

Yeah i have chest pain and im taking 80 mg of nexium a day and it doesnt seem to be working, i have reguritation almoust every day

I take Nexium 20mg twice a day and I also noticed some shortness of breath that I don't think I had on Losec four years ago but I also have eaten much in last weeks so that could be a reason for no energy/ loosing breath and tired.
