Daxter, try to keep some hope, we all have ups and downs and at my worst I had so many problems with eating and drinking, I thought it woukd never go away. But I can honestly say that now I am not at my worst and things have got better. Ok im not cured but symtpoms are much better, and i have got to know all the little dos and donts that make my life that much easier.
So try and keep some hope, it wont go away quickly but at some point you will start to feel better.
I think it would be worth you having a barium swallow, then they can watch what happens when you eat and drink.
The most important thing in getting people to take you seriously is not to act anxious when youre talking to them. Try and stay composed with them, fake it if you need to. I know how annoying it is when people write you off with anxiety, they did that with me for months and months, even had me believing it at one point, but you have to just keep pushing back and searching for answers. Managing the anxiety is important too though. Do relaxation exercises, i had to do them about
5 x a day at my worst because i was so anxious and that is all that kept me sane.
