Nissen questions for ladies

To all the ladies who have had the surgery I have a concern, which may seem trivial, but I am wondering how long was it after surgery that you could wear a bra comfortably? I only want to be out of work for 2 weeks, and can't go braless lol. I saw someone posted about wearing a tank with built in bra, but those will not work for me as I am too large.

The surgery is well below the bra area, in your abdomen. Discomfort in the abdomen can be considerable. It depends somewhat on how extensive the surgery has to be - as in if there is a large hernia that has to be repaired.

In any case, don't plan to go back to work real soon. Talk to your doctor and read a bunch of posts. See the search box at the top of the page.

I wore my older bras that were kinda stretched out at first. It was uncomfortable at first to wear my newer ones, it felt like it was too tight. After the fourth week, I was back in my regular bras.
