I think my nissen has failed!

Hi all, posted here the other week...
I had my nissen in December 2013 and whilst I've had a few bumps in the road have recovered well until recently.
I've been getting reflux symptons and feel like ok getting heartburn a lot again, it isn't as bad as before the op and comes with a gas sensation, so I don't know whether the wrap is irritated or if it is reflux.
I'm worried about what to do as I don't know whether I would be allowed the nissen again. I'm a 21 year old male otherwise healthy

Hi gloopster, looks like our wraps were done at the same time. Sorry you're experiencing this at the age of 21.

I'm told my wrap is too tight. There is no way I'm getting it loosened as I can't risk reflux again. If I get too much gas in my stomach or especially if I eat too much I do get what feels like a burp / slight regurgitation, which puts acid into my oesophagus that seems to stay there for ages. I don't know if this helps any but I never eat enough in one go to feel full, and that seems to stop it.
