Well, I think the removal went well, but now I can't pee. Catheters didn't help. Overall, cool.

Happy to hear things went well. Hopefully you've peed by now. If not, you will in time. Did you go home or still in hospital? Now onto recovery and feeling great.

On call urologist came and it in a catheter and left it. I'm such with it though the weekend.

I didn't expect this. I'm still hospitalized.

Well, I think you need to try to relax and recover over the weekend and let the nurses fuss around you!

Well, surgeon doesn't want me going home with it. I'm agreeing with him. Haha

Ah dang! Well not being able to pee after surgery is common but usually resolves rather quickly. Are they leaving it in all weekend? I'm surprised they are not just doing an In and Out catheter. Means they put one in, drain you, take it out. Then hope you can pee. If not then repeat the process. Not a fun process but at least doesn't leave your bladder dependent on the catheter all weekend. Did your surgeon say what he thinks is going on? You get some rest this way and regular help from the nurses at leaset. Hopefully home soon. Good luck and keep us posted.
