I have been in contact with Reza Band, and enclosed the details below.
I have myself had a prototype made and it certainly helps me, so I can't wait to get the real thing.

I would encourage those with LPR to contact Reza Band direct to find a supplier.

pink, So glad to hear you're getting some relief with the prototype! Can you describe how it feels to wear it, and how your symptoms are while using it? Are you still sleeping elevated?

Anyone know if the Reza band is coming to the US soon. I have gerd/lpr and am not a candidate for the surgery, and so sick of fighting all these pillows.

Hi Diaba,

The prototype does feel strange to start with, it's tight on your neck but not uncomfortable - I find it stops 70% of reflux into my throat so I'm hoping the real thing will be even better.

I'm having constant reflux and can feel it at the top of my throat all the time, I wear the prototype all day and night under a scarf.

I am sleeping elevated as my sphincter is wide open but even then due to gastric pressure I still get reflux all night long.

I am still considering surgery or an anti reflux stent to see if that helps restore the motility.

Why are you not a candidate for surgery, has your consultant told you this?

Readers can google this product easily. If you have EERD it might help.

It's certainly not going to cure a hiatal hernia, but for those with the particular type of problem with an overly relaxed upper esophageal sphincter muscle, for which this was invented, it could be worth a try.

(Note there is a slightly different vocabulary and set of abbreviations than we usually see posted.)
